With costs spiralling, even the biggest clubs struggling to make ends meet, and many small clubs going under, there are calls for reform. Is there another way of playing or at least running and financing football? And while not all clubs can have their own docuseries or Hollywood owners – should anyone be allowed to own them? We tour England and Wales, from Wrexham to Bury and Manchester, look at the communities, visit the clubs, and meet with local politicians and experts.
