Laura Dixon is a British freelance journalist based in Bogota. She writes regularly for The Times and News Deeply, and has been published by The Guardian, The Financial Times, the Atlantic, Mongabay, and Foreign Policy magazine.
While in Colombia she has written about the peace process, the psychological impact of war on young children, the plague of landmines, the TV series Narcos and the environment. She is currently working on a long-term investigative project about migration with the organisation 100Reporters and Transparency International.
